I was extremely disappointed when the Log Slice Clock arrived. It was very tightly and securely wrapped. However, I found the quality of the clock not to be worth nearly the price I paid. It was not made out of wood or even a heavy resin. The wood slice image was not even painted, as is Taylor Instruments does on its Log Slice Thermometer. It was simply a decay adhered to a thin piece of plastic with a hole drilled in the middle and a cheap battery operated clock installed in it. The mechanism of the clock did not even have a weather shield installed on it. It therefore cannot be used outdoors as your contact person claimed. I could have purchased a 12" log slice clock of equal or better quality on Amazon for $14 to $17. From a company that touts their woodworking skills this is extremely fraudulent. I will ensure other potential buyers are notified of the price and quality disparity.
